Athanasios Kapoutsis received the Diploma and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DUTH), Xanthi, Greece, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Information Technologies Institute (CERTH), Thessaloniki, Greece. During the past years, he has been involved in several EU FP7, H2020 and National funded Research and Development projects. His research is mainly focused on robotics, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, machine intelligence, adaptive control, and pattern recognition.
